PHILIP CLARKE
Managing Director
After producing and directing current affairs for Thames Television, BBC and various independent companies he became Head of Programmes for Diverse Production, a leading independent, from 1989 to 1996. There he was Executive Producer on a wide range of factual series and one-off documentaries for Channel 4, BBC Television and ITV.
He has been Executive Producer of over 300 hours of 'Time Team' for Channel Four since 1994; devised and Executive Produced 'Breaking the Seal' (6 x 30 historical documentary presented by Bettany Hughes) for BBC 2 and 'Seven Ages of Britain' for Channel Four.
Philip also runs Feelgood Fiction, a small drama company, with Laurence Bowen. They have produced prime time series for all the terrestrial broadcasters.
Through Diverse Philip won two RTS Educational Awards and one Current Affairs Award. 'Time Team' has won two 'Indies', an RTS award, and been BAFTA and Broadcast nominated. Feelgood has won two children's BAFTA awards and one RTS award for 'My Life as a Popat', a Monte Carlo gold Nymph and an International Emmy nomination for 'Suburban Shootout'.

SIMON RAIKES
Creative Director
After an apprenticeship making factual and current affairs magazine programmes for Channel 4, Simon joined Time Team in 1995 and began to specialize in science and history programming. Since then he has produced, directed and series produced more than 100 hours of programming for Channel 4, More4, BBC, Discovery and History Canada.
He was Series Producer of 'Checkout' (C4's consumer magazine) in 1993, Deputy Editor of 'Hands Up' (C4's education series) in 1994, Series Editor of Time Team from 2001-2004, and Series Producer of 'The Big Roman Dig' in 2005 and 'The Big Royal Dig' in 2006.
He produced the RTS award-winning inaugural Time Team Live in 1997, and directed the 'Richmond' episode that won TeamTeam an 'Indie' in 1996.
Other pre-Wildfire credits include 'A Week in Politics', 'Class Action', 'The Pulse', 'Secrets of the Ancients', 'The Sci Files', 'Breaking the Science Barrier with Richard Dawkins'.
